ABOUT THE BOOK

Using Interactive Art as a Therapeutic Tool

The purpose of this faith-based book, which includes Interactive Art prints, is to be a tool for assisting mental health professionals such as counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, clergy, therapists, or individuals seeking self-help in the emotional and mental healing process following traumatic events.  The prints and suggested uses offer guidance to aid in moving toward healthier thoughts, emotional relief, and positive emotional support by utilizing four methods of learning, known as VARK (visual, auditory, reading/writing, kinesthetic.) The overall concept is to present tools and suggestions on how to retrain the mindset of trauma survivors from harmful to healthy.
